Prodo Labs announces cut back in activities due to reduced islet orders from the economic turndown.

With slow down in the economy, major corporate pharmaceutical companies are changing their priorities in their research operations and reducing the number of human islets needed in their research. As a consequence, Prodo Labs announces a layoff of the majority of its employees needed to process human islets on a regular basis. The company will continue processing human islets by the addition of per diem employees to the reduced number of employees remaining in order to continue to process human islets. Prodo Labs is actively increasing its activities in order to increase the number of corporate contracts.
